Mmmm... Focus, priority, positivity and attention.

Things to make you go Mmmm…

"To encourage creativity by sharing more inspiration than any electronic artist.”

Three thoughts for your creativity and one on mine.

3 for you:

The gift of focus.

"Attention is the rarest and purest form of generosity." - Simone Weil

There can be only one priority.

"The problem with keeping your options open is that every option requires energy to hold. And a shelf full of maybes is often heavier than a hand holding one yes. Put something down.” - James Clear

Positive decisions.

"I was born with a happy heart. I've always tried to let that shine even during my dark times. I'm one of those people who, even if things are not right, goes about trying to make it as right as I can rather than just lying around on my ass and wallowing in it all day. I think, "Well, I can either do this or I can do that." I choose to get up and try to make it better if I can...

Of course, I try to improve every day. If there's a better outfit, I want to wear it. If there's a better song, I want to write it. If there's a better record, I want to record it. If there's a better movie, I want to make it. I will continue to be as good as I can be. And I intend to keep coming up with new ideas all the time." - Dolly Parton

1 from me

Attention Is Your Most Valuable Currency.

“We talk a lot about time.

How much we have.

How little we have.

How we spend it.

But attention might be even more valuable.

Because you can have an hour available and still give none of it to the thing that matters.

Your attention is constantly being claimed.

Notifications.

News.

Social media.

Other people's priorities.

Things designed to keep you looking, scrolling and reacting.

And whatever you repeatedly give your attention to starts to shape your experience of life.

Give your attention to comparison, and comparison becomes part of your world.

Give it to problems, and problems become more prominent.

Give it to creating, learning and the people you care about, and those things begin to occupy more of your life.

What you pay attention to grows in importance.

So it's worth asking:

What has most of my attention at the moment?

And is that where I actually want it?

Because attention isn't unlimited.

You spend it every day.

Spend it deliberately.

Your attention is your life in smaller units.”
