You Become What You Repeatedly Tolerate.
“Your standards aren't revealed by what you say.
They're revealed by what you allow.
The promises you don't keep to yourself.
The distractions you keep making room for.
The behaviours you know aren't serving you.
Every time you tolerate something, you teach yourself that it's acceptable.
The opposite is true too.
When you raise your standards, small things start to matter.
Not because you're becoming rigid.
Because you're becoming intentional.
Your life is often a reflection of what you've been willing to accept.
If something keeps draining your energy, slowing your growth, or pulling you away from who you want to become, stop making room for it.

🎹 This Saturday
This Saturday I'll be performing my first full London live show as Darien J at Buntu in Brixton.
It's a bit surreal to think this project has gone from an idea to a 90-minute live set built from two years of writing, refining and rehearsing.
